Judith Scherr has more than 25 years of experience in training, negotiations, group facilitation and mediation, with a special expertise in interest-based bargaining. With 32 years of public sector experience, she has provided representation, consultation and conflict avoidance and resolution assistance to the Social Security Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Indian Health Service. In addition to her public sector work, she is a volunteer mediator for the San Francisco Community Boards and the Oakland Conflict Resolution Panel. As a private mediator, she has worked with landlord-tenant and neighbor disputes of all kinds, divorce and relationship issues and general family mediation. She has extensive experience with large group conflicts, including political action groups, non-profit organizations and professional groups. She has mediation certifications from San Francisco and Snohomish County Dispute Resolution Center and has given training on mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes. Since receiving her JD in 1982, she has been a law professor at San Francisco Law School, teaching Conflicts and Choice of Law. E-mail: judith@adro.net
